Our goal

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across Friendly Meet, including booking pages and the meeting room.

Built-in help

• Accessibility menu (icon at the bottom-left): bigger text, high contrast, underlined links, wider spacing, a readable font, stronger focus outlines, and stopping animations.
• Live captions and transcripts in meetings.
• Keyboard access to every control, screen-reader labels, and support for your device’s reduced-motion setting.
• Phone dial-in style audio-only mode when video is hard to use.

Known limits

Some parts of the video window come from our video engine and may not be fully labeled for screen readers yet. Shared screens and whiteboards depend on what the presenter shows.
