SMS Terms & TCPA Notice
Effective November 1, 2026 · Friendly Web Designs LLC
How appointment and meeting texts work, and how to stop them.
Program
Friendly Meet sends text messages for businesses that use it to schedule appointments and video meetings. Texts are transactional: booking confirmations, reminders, time changes, cancellations, and “we’re waiting for you” notices. We do not send marketing texts.
How you agree
You only get texts if you tick the text-message box when booking (it is never pre-ticked), or if a host confirms you asked to be texted about a specific meeting. Agreeing is never a condition of booking or buying anything.
We keep a record of each agreement: the exact wording you saw, the time, and the phone number.
Frequency and cost
Message frequency varies, usually 1–4 texts per appointment. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Stopping texts
Reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any text to stop all texts from Friendly Meet to that number. You will get one final confirmation. Reply START to resubscribe. You can also use the Opt-out page.
Reply HELP for help, or contact us at the details below.
Quiet hours
Reminders are scheduled around your appointment time. Late-join notices go out only during your meeting.
Privacy
Your mobile number and consent are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing. See our Privacy Policy.
Business rules for workspaces
Workspaces that text people through Friendly Meet must have consent, text only about the agreed meeting or appointment, honor opt-outs immediately (Friendly Meet enforces this for you), and not import purchased or scraped number lists.
